About Me

I am the one and only Filipe Damazzio, and I will be your fashion host extraordinaire as you make your way through this extensive and jam-packed website! My official job title is a combination of that of a fashion consultant, stylist, and model. So, if it’s up-to-date, on the ball fashion tips and advice you are searching for, then you have come to the right place.

I was born and bred in what I like to call the capital of the fashion world, the stunning country of Italy. I can thoroughly credit my fashion roots to being born in such a country, as it was here that I first caught a glimpse of how important clothes were to everyone, and how we could all find a style to suit our unique and indeed individual personalities.

Growing up, I saw so many men and women of every age take immense pride in their outfits, and I soon learned how to mix and match my clothing, alongside realizing what worked well for various specific body types.

It did not take long for this unique talent to develop into a passion, which I full heartedly intended to follow as soon as I left education. However, when it came to choosing my options for college, it was clear there wasn’t much in the way of Fashion Guru in the educational institution!

Not to be deterred, my family had been a driving point behind me following my dream job career, and they were determined not to let me fall at this hurdle. So, instead of the usual business or engineering degrees, that so many of my peers were doing at that time, they encouraged me to find a photography and art-based course.

After just one month of working on my photography course, I realized how much I could utilize this career path and apply it to my fashion knowledge. Consequently, within a few weeks of successfully passing the course, I found myself being invited to fly all over the world to cover some immense fashion shoots, which led to me ultimately beginning requested to offer my services as a freelance photographer.

A Website Is Born

Having spent so much time lending my eye for that perfect fashion shot to various media outlets, I then felt that passion stir and immediately began to think of a way to start combining my photography with my one true passion, that is advising others on selecting the right styles and clothing choices.

It just so happened that during one of my regular modeling assignments, I was told by the owner of the brand that should I ever branch out on my own, they would be one of the first to follow me and perhaps arrange a collaboration, such was my passion for this industry.

It dawned on me then, that if brands were keen to read what I had to say and view my photography skills, then there must be thousands of everyday people, interested on making the best of their fashion choices, who would also like to follow such a blog.

A few days later, I forged ahead and created my very own website, that of filipedamazzio.com and the rest, as they say, is history!
